Powder Day!

14 new inches at Beaver Creek yesterday on top of 5" the previous day. Mom, Dad and I are headed up to enjoy the fluffy stuff. Mom won the straw pull, so she gets first chair while Dad and I hang in the base lodge. Then Dad gets to go out for two hours when Mom comes back to feed me. Hey, wait a second... when do I get to go out.

P.S. Did Mom and Dad dress me for skiing or to be the next NASA astronaut?

I Can Swim

Dad always told me that he would not be that annoying parent that hovered over their child as they did "their firsts." He was going to be the Dad that lived in the moment and was present at my firsts rather than behind a camera. I guess he missed this, but he got the pics to prove I am a swimmer! Can you imagine me - a swimmer? Who would of thought that I could of been a swimmer... I must of been adopted. Yo Phelps - "I can go to eleven - even with my diaper on. I don't need no stink'n special suit to win gold. I just pee and I win gold."

Dear Pampers Sponsorship Person,

You should get me on your radar screen, because as soon as I get a social security number, my agent is taking me global. Today, I pretty much proved I am the next big fish. I swam on my back with no fear, I went under water. Ok, I would have gone all the way under if Dad could have stole me away from Mom for one more second. Any ways, I think I am the real deal. Dad said I was probably born with chlorine in my veins. I think Dad is just trying to justify his hair loss. I guess he and Mom spent a little too much time with the h2o in a prior life. Oh ya, by the way - there is a "P" in pool - I put it there.

World Cup Ski Racing

So I checked out this race this weekend where dudes with tree trunk legs hurl themselves down a really step hill with two sticks on their feet. I think I want to do that when I grow up. Check me out with mom at the world cup ski race at Beaver Creek this weekend. Man do I look cool. Will someone tell Mom that even though we are standing on snow, it is 50 degrees and I am sweating my diaper off.

I slept through the night!

I did it, I did it. Mom and Dad are jumping for joy. I went to sleep at 8PM, had a quick feed at 11PM, then slept all the way into the morning. My parents are SO excited!!! Do you think I can do it again tonight? Dad sure hopes so!

Ever since Sunday night, Dad and I have been working on stretching my night feedings, so my tummy can get use to just eating during the day. Instead of eating at night, I would just sit up with Dad in my room feeling grumpy until I would go back to sleep. Dad and I had not slept more than two consecutive hours in the last four days, so I got the feeling he was about to crack, so I decided it was time. Sleep is so sweet!

My First Christmas Tree

I had the opportunity to go Christmas Tree hunting with my parents and YaYa and Papi a couple of weeks ago. We have not had the time to bring the tree into the house yet, but I sure had a ton of fun. I feel sorry, my Dad cut a tree down, but he promised me that he would plant another. Dad tells me that reindeer and old fat men come to your house if we plant a tree in the living room. I am not I wantthat, but I sure had a ton of fun.

I Can Fly - California!

I had many firsts this past week including my first hotel, my first escalator, my first flight and my first beach. My favorite part of the trip would of been the beach, but I actually slept through the outing, but I have a picture to prove I was there.

My First Snow!

The weather outside is frightful, but in my mommy's arms it is delightful. Let it Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow.

I Have Feet!

I was sitting on my Dad's stomach this morning staring up at him and fell forward and you will not believe what I found. I HAVE FEET! You may have not heard of these things before, but I think they are actually attached to the bottom of me. The thing that confuses me, is that I think I have seen my feet before, but they have been skin colored, orange, blue or black. But today they are white with little monkeys all over them. These feet things really cracked me up. Every time they moved they made me smile and Dad swears he could see me laughing in my eyes. I am not sure if it is my head bobbing around or the actual feet, but they seem to move every where with no rhyme or reason. I think in the next couple of weeks, I will try to get these things in my mouth and see how they taste. I will let you know.

Wow, I have feet!

I am learning to speak Texan

On my trip to Texas, I have learned a whole new language. Here are a couple of new words and sayings that I have learned:

Buy - This does not mean to purchase something as Dad's states. It is used as "Buy, I am fixin to go to the store"

All You Ya'll: "Everyone within an ears shot, listen to me. I am fixin to blow bubbles, all you ya'll better watch"

Fixin' To: I am about to do something. Example... "I am fixin to poop in my Texas Longhorn's outfit"

Meatetarian: A meal full of all beef

Saturday: A day where everyone wears burnt orange

Sunday: A day where everyone wears a Star

It's Cald Outside: It is currently 65 degrees

Cows are Pissin on a flat rock: It is really raining outside

Lakin': To play at the lake

My Dog Is Amazing!

So I am hanging out at Lake Waxahachie with my parental units and my Mom's family and I have just realized I have an amazing dog! He knows how to use a ladder, swim with the ducks and he can Jet Ski. Check it out and don't miss the video on the dock...

Chicken's Can Fly

I found out that chicken's can fly at the Texas State fair. I attended the State Fair with my Texas family and saw a bunch of things that I never imagined. Here are just a few examples of new things I saw at the Texas State Fair...

  • Fried Snickers

  • Fried Cookie Dough

  • Fried Aligator

  • Fried Corny Dogs

  • Fried Chicken Fried Steak with Bacon

  • Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly

  • Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly with Banana

  • Fried Chicken

  • Fried Potatos

  • Corn on a Stick Soaked in Butter

Those are just some of the things I considered, but I have no teeth! One of my favorite spectator events was Chicken Flying. Here are a few pictures of my favorite Texas State Fair moments.

I have a Great, Great Aunt

On my way to see Yaya and Papi, I stopped to see my Great, Great Aunt Helen in Nocona, Tx. Here are a couple of pictures from our Super Model Photo Shoot.

Big O in Texas

Mom and Dad did not let me take the wheel for the last couple of hours when they were too tired to move on to Waxahachie, so I was welcomed to Texas by Uncle Bruce in Nocona. Here we are watching Sunday Night Football together at his house at the Lake.

I Can Smile!!!

I Am Ten Pounds and I Made The Move

I slept in my crib last night all by myself, ok almost all night. It was a big night for me. I had been sleeping in the co-sleeper next to my parent's bed, but I was ready for a room of my own. I can only hang with my parents for so long. Geesh, don't they know I need my independence. I am thinking about getting a lava lamp.

YaYa in the House

YaYa is in town and I was able to get some shots of me and the ladies. Check me out... I am loved!

I Got Sponsored!

I have been waiting for my big sponsorship to come my whole career. I have been working so hard over the last couple of weeks to get noticed by the scouts and last week it happened. I got sponsored! Teva picked me up as their youngest athlete in the brands history and all I have to do is wear my shoes when I go out of the house. A big shout out to my team managers at Teva and Deckers for the sweet Teva, Ugg and Simple kicks. I will make you proud. Check out the promo picture above in my first photo shoot. I was a little sleepy, so I decided to go for the casual look... I call this my "I am so cool in my Teva shoes, I can even sleep and the ladies swoon" look. Ok, at least my mom at this point.

I like to ride bikes at night

Here it is almost midnight and I want to ride bikes AGAIN with Dad. You see, one of my favorite things to do is to have Dad hold me close to his chest and have him ride the stationary bike in the basement. It makes me happy, but when he goes too slow it wakes me up and I have to jump in his ear to get his butt moving. Dad complains that he doesn't like to sweat after midnight, but it makes me happy and everyone knows who rules the clock, OWEN CHARLES HEATH! So ride I say... Ride into the night.

Hike Number 2

Mom and Dad took me up West Lake Creek Trail this past weekend. I got to ride with my Dad this time. Dad says it was beautiful, but I chose to sleep instead. That way I can hang out with Dad until 2AM walking around the house. I love when he whispers shhhhhhhh and goes up and down the stairs. I do not know why he just goes up and down up and down so many times in a row. Last night, I lost count after the 25th time and just feel asleep. Next thing I knew, I woke up next to momma, ready for more B--M-I-L-K. I love Boobies!

Hangin Out

I can hang out on my belly, on my side, I can even hold my head up if I really want. Mom and Dad think I am pretty cool! I think they are pretty cool too. This week I have started to realize there are things out there in the world. I look out the window, I stare at my Momma and I make funny faces at my Dad. I can even see something happening in that silver box when Dad cheers for the Broncos. I have learned how to sleep just like a referee in a football game when there is a field goal. I hold up both my arms above my head and sleep the hours away.
I really can't make anything out, but I am starting to figure out that something is beyond my nose. Gotta go, I have to poop and there is a whole world out there that I just realized I have to see!

My First Bottle!

Last night my Dad gave me my first bottle! My Dad said I was ready for college. I finished my allotted 1.5 ounces in 45 seconds and was burped in under a minute and screaming for more for the next 1.5 hours. Tonight Mom pumped more and I put 3.5 ounces down in five minutes! Dad is really excited to be feeding me and Mom gets to take at least one feeding off and sleep for a whole three - four hours straight.

Grammy and Pop Pop Came To Visit

I went on my first official hike with Grammy and Pop Pop on Saturday. It was really fun! I especially liked when my brother Kyan ran in and out of the creek. It was so much fun, I slept the whole way! I love the outdoors and especially the elevation gain of the entire hike, my Mommy carried me the entire way up and down. We are celebrating Labor Day at home, because we had such a big night last night watching the Buffaloes win their first game. I was also excited to see the Longhorns win too, but I am really confused on who I will cheer for on October 4th when CU plays UT in Boulder. I am definitely going to that game, but I guess I will have to sit with Dad one half and Mom the other. My cheer will be... Go Buff-Horns or Go Long-alos or Go Buff-Longs. I don't really cares who wins, I just want to tailgate. I hear Dad will fire up a mean grill and we will all host a beer or boob together in unity, regardless if you are a Buff or Lomghorn! My favorite cheer is "whoopyy for breast feeding." To date, it is my favorite sport! I win gold all the time. The commentators say I even make my Mom's toes curl.

Oh My Gosh, I Have Fingers!!!

Dad swears I have had them all the time, because he said he counted them when I came out, but I just discovered them this week. They make me a little confused. Sometimes they are there, sometimes I can't find them any where. I am happiest when I try to get my whole hand in my mouth and I am really sad when I can't find them. Mom and Dad keep telling me they are there the entire time, but I don't believe them. By the way, I have been eating really well. Mom thinks I will be 9+ lbs by next week. Dad says I have already grown a third chin. Three sounds better than one, so I happy about that. I am going to watch my first Colorado Buffalo Football game tonight with Dad. Pics coming soon of Granny and Pop Pop's visit from yesterday.

My First FAC

Dad really wanted to get mom and I out of the house, so he took us to my first ever FAC at the Wolcott Yacht Club. The name sounds fancy, but it's really just a hole in the wall on the side of the road. I got to hang out with a bunch of other kids, while the moms talked about breast feeding and sleeping - My two favorite things.
By the way, I LOVE TO SLEEP. Dad is knocking on wood right now. I don't get it. Here are some pics that Dad took of mommy and me following my big night out at the bar with his new lens that the grand parents and mommy got him for his birthday.

Uncle Kevin is in the House!

I met Uncle Kevin tonight. He flew up from Dallas for fifteen hours just to see me! Wow that is cool. I am not sure where Dallas is, but Dad says I will see it soon. I also met Great Uncle Bruce tonight via video phone and he played the University of Texas fight song. It made Dad cry, but Mom and Unkie Kevin were cheering.

I have had a big week. I gained 1 whole pound this week. Unkie tells me that is 14.285714% gain in one week. It makes Mom happy and me poop even more! I went on my first grocery store visit today. I did pretty well. Mom let ride in the cart. My favorite thing to do is go to the dog park with my brother Kyan and play frisbee. I ride in a chest back and usually sleep, but I love it. Talk to you soon.

I love to pee and poop!

I think I am going to fill up Eagle County's landfill all by myself. A little financial advice... buy Pampers stock now, because I have greatly increased demand! I have been pretty busy lately and every time I hear my Daddy's voice I like to poop. I have already pee'd on my Dad three times, on the changing table a half dozen and last night I pee'd all the way to where my clothes are hanging in the closet. I even pee'd on my own head. My favorite highlight poop of the week was when my Mom and YaYa (Kelly's Mom) where trying to air out my red little bottom and I projectile pooped at least two feet on my Mom's pants. All this Olympic hype has really gotten me in the spirit. I think I am going for the poopy Gold! Move over Phelps, I have more Gold in my diaper than you have around your neck.

My First Moment

I have been brewing in my mommy's belly since Thanksgiving. My due date was August 16th, but my Daddy was hoping for his birthday, August 8th. He thought it would be cool to be born on the opening day of the Olympics- 08/08/08, but I tricked him. I decided to come out on 08/17/08 at 3:32PM. If you look closely at the math, I really did honor his wishes of the number 8 and the Olympics. You know 8 is my Dad's favorite number. If you look at my birth date and time real close, you will see what I was doing.

Year Born = 2008 known as 08

Month Born: The 8th month known as 08

Day: 17 otherwise know as 1+7= 08

Time Born: 3:32 otherwise known as 3+3+2= 08

I was born on the same day Michael Phelps won his eighth gold medal in the 2008 Olympics

making 08-08-08 at 08

When I took my first breath, the nurses put me on my Mommy's belly with a ski hat with the words "Vail Baby." I was really excited to see my mom. My eyes were wide open and I could see her tears of joy. My Dad says he has never seen someone fall in love so quickly! I was really happy that my Mom took such great care of me in her belly. She didn't even take any drugs in delivery, so I was bright eye, bushy tailed and ready for milk.

The room I was delivered in had a great view of Vail ski mountain. My Daddy said people pay big money for a view like that. I do not know much about that, but I am excited to ski that mountain someday soon! DaPaw, my Mommy's daddy said he is ready to take me skiing.

If you can believe it, all four of my grand parents were in the waiting room when I came flying into the world. I feel really lucky. I like them a lot, but I have to tell you - they have funny "flashes" that come out of these funny small boxes they hold up to their eyes all the time. They keep calling it a picture, but I have no idea what they are talking about. They just keep doing it over and over!

I need some rest, but I will tell you about the rest of my first week really soon!
